Is the procedure painful?
After treatment, clients feel heat or warmth to the skin indicating that healing and remodelling are taking place. It can be described as a similar feeling to sunburn.
What aftercare should be followed? During the healing phase and several months afterwards, it is recommended that the treatment area be protected using a moisturising sunblock with an SPF of 40+. Only apply skincare products during the healing process that have been recommended by us.
Are there any side effects?
Mild to moderate redness of the skin in addition to the skin turning brown and shedding or flaking within the first 5-10 days after treatment. It is critical that the skin is to be left to shed naturally and not picked or peeled to avoid scarring.
Is there any downtime?It usually takes just over a week to 10 days for skin to fully restore.
